SYSTEMS
Genesis
2:3 says - And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it; because that in
it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
The
question is – Can God get tired? If he cannot get tired, why does he need rest?
When
we are reading the bible we should not just take it as any other book and take
the words at face value. It behooves us to think about what we read and search
the true meaning. The bible tells us in Proverbs 25:2 that it is the glory of
God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.
People become king by searching out what God has hidden because when you find
them kings would look for you. The secret to your wealth is hidden in the word.
So
we need to understand what the word rest means here is to cease from labor. To
stop actively participating because he has put systems in place that would
never require him to labor again. The
bible tells us in Genesis 1:29 that God gave us every seed bearing plant such
that every plant would have a seed that can be planted to replace and multiply
that plant, human reproduce themselves so God doesn’t have to keep laboring
over and over again to create one thing. He does it once and it begins to
replicate itself.
Now
let’s look at this in today’s terms. If God was a business man he would not go
out every day to make money like we do. He would work and then rest from his labor
i.e. when he works and gets paid he ensure the money begins to work for
him. Our creator fully understands what
many of us have not begun to understand.
When
we go out each day to work and at the end of the day we spend that money then
we need to go back to work again to get more money to sort out our expenses.
Which means we would forever be slaves because at what point would all our
needs be met such that we do not have to work again. The answer is never so we
would work till we can work no more. Our bodies are finite and cannot last
forever so at a certain point we must stop and therefore finally become
bankrupt. On the flip side if the days
we are strong and can work we set the money we make to begin to work for us no
matter what that money would not get tired. The key therefore is any money we
make must first be sent on an errand to work for us and we take care of our
expenses and daily living from the proceeds of the work done by the money
living the initial money put in to keep on working or better still after taking
care of expenses from the proceeds send what is left to join the first seed
money to keep on working. With the power of leverage in a few years you would
be financially free to do whatever you want while this money keeps working for
you.
Let
me blow your mind right now? Are you ready for this? Because we are about to go
deeper?
Let’s
turn our bibles to
Matthew 25:14-30Amplified Bible (AMP)
14 For it is like a man (WHO
IS THE MAN – GOD) who was about to take a long journey, and he called his
servants together and entrusted them with his property.
15 To one he gave five
talents [probably about $5,000], to another two, to another one—to each in
proportion to his own [a]personal ability. (THIS
TELLS US THERE WAS NO FAVORITISM) Then he departed and left
the country.
16 He who had received the
five talents went at once and traded with them ( MAKING MONEY BY BUYING AND
SELLING THINGS OR SERVICES MEANING LABOR WHICH IS MAKING MONEY WHILE PHYSICALLY
PRESENT), and he gained five talents more.
17 And likewise he who had
received the two talents—he also gained two talents more.
18 But he who had received
the one talent went and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.
19 Now after a long time
the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.
20 And he who had received
the five talents came and brought him five more, saying, Master, you entrusted
to me five talents; see, here I have gained five talents more.
21 His master said to him,
Well done, you upright (honorable, [b]admirable) and faithful
servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little;
I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy
(the delight, the [c]blessedness) which your
master enjoys.
22 And he also who had the
two talents came forward, saying, Master, you entrusted two talents to me; here
I have gained two talents more.
23 His master said to him,
Well done, you upright (honorable, [d]admirable) and faithful
servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little;
I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy
(the delight, the [e]blessedness) which your
master enjoys.
24 He who had received one
talent also came forward, saying, Master, (WHO IS HE REFERRING TO AS MASTER –
GOD) I knew you to be a harsh and hard man, reaping where you
did not sow, and gathering where you had not winnowed [the grain]. (SO IT IS
GOD HE IS SAYING REAPS WHERE HE DID NOT SOW AND GATHERED WHERE HE HAD NOT
WINNOWED)
25 So I was afraid, and I
went and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is your own.
26 But his master answered
him, you wicked and lazy and idle servant!
Did you indeed know that I reap where I have not sowed and gather [grain] where
I have not winnowed? (GOD DIDN’T DENY THE ACCUSATION)
27 Then you should have (invested my money with the bankers) (INVEST
MEANS TO COMMIT MONEY IN ORDER TO EARN A FINANCIAL RETURN), and at my coming I
would have received what was my own with interest.
28 So take the talent away
from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents.
29 For to everyone who has
will more be given, and he will be [f]furnished richly so that
he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he
does have will be taken away.
30 And throw the
good-for-nothing servant into the outer darkness; there will be weeping and
grinding of teeth.
The servant that was given one as the scripture pointed out earlier it was
because he knew that this servant knew him well, knew his principles and how he
made money and having known all these was why he was given one talent knowing
that if he had acted the way the master would have done he would have made much
more than the others.
Our
God is a God of abundance and the kind of riches he has in store for us we can
never achieve it by our labor, by anything we have to physically do. There is a
saying that you make a living by our income (which is what we receive for what
we do) we make a fortune by what the system does for us. You can never get rich
with wages only with profits.
Without systems in place you business would not be aligned with God's Business Model.
The next cardinal point in God's Business Model is relationship and would be discussed tomorrow.
